The developer for this app is awesome! There was an issue with the previous version and my wife couldn't get into her school account. I emailed him and in a few days he had a fix and resubmitted to Apple. I tested 1.2 and it works flawlessly on her iPhone and iPad. If you use Moodle for school...I highly recommend this app!!!

I downloaded the 1.1 version originally and was impressed but the forum viewing and posting feature did not work correctly. I contacted customer service and they responded in just a few hours and worked to fix the issue. V 1.2 is really robust, and you can easily view and post to forums, something I had to do in HTML before this app! mTouch is the perfect tool for people who want to access their moodle content on the go, and the developers offer great support. Can't wait for the ipad optimized version

This is great start... It gets a little more stable each version and the developers seem responsive. I hope to have an iPad version out soon but this is great contribution to the Moodle community

If you use Moodle as a Learning Management System and have an iPod or iPhone, you owe it to yourself to buy mTouch! This is one of those apps that enhances the experience of the site it connects to (think Twitter clients versus the original Twitter site) It features many of the add-ons of the Moodle site including quizzes, assignments, chat and much much more! This is a fantastic app that shows just how much value can be added to open source products by thoughtful designers.

  • mTouch iPad version under way

    Lots of mTouch users keep asking for an iPad version of mTouch from time to time and we were listening to them and trying to figure out if special iPad version of mTouch would be feasible.

    It has become apparent that Moodle 2 has some time to get stable and ready for production and we suppose that at least during 2010-2011 people will keep using Moodle 1.9.

    So we decided to publish special iPad version of mTouch and we are working hard on that version. We hope to publish iPad version of mTouch by the end of September 2010. mTouch for iPad will support same feature set as the iPhone/iPod Touch version with an optimized iPad layout.

  • mTouch 1.3 submitted for review

    We have submitted a bug fix version (1.3) to the AppStore for review. Also we would like to thank to all our users who sent us their feedback and helped us make mTouch a better application.

    We hope mTouch 1.3 will be ready for update/purchase by the end of next week.

  • mTouch 1.2 submitted for review

    We have submitted mTouch 1.2 for review to the AppStore. mTouch will hopefully be ready for download within a couple of days.

    This version includes

    • Themes support. mTouch comes with four predefined themes (Standard, Slate, Dark and Black)
    • Profile support. You can now have multiple Moodle accounts and access any account by using stored profiles easly
    • Enrolled courses are fetched from My Moodle. Previous versions used the user profile which caused some courses not to be displayed and in some cases no courses.
    • Limited Gradesbookplus support. Navigate to your course grades from More->Course Grades
    • More->Grades renamed to All Grades
    • Resources displayed in pop up browser window are handled properly. You can download and preview resources
    • Some navigation improvements

  • mTouch 1.1 is on the AppStore

    mTouch 1.1 is on the AppStore and ready for download.This update includes lots of bug fixes and a few upgrades,
    • Log in related bug caused by special characters like & in the passwords fixed.
    • Site Policies related bug fixed. This bug caused students not to see list of enrolled courses. With this update users are prompted a dialog informing them about the site policy and directs them to first accept the policy before using mTouch.
    • All file types which can be displayed by Safari are now supported properly. Previous version was lacking support for mp3 and ms office files.
    • Minor UI optimizations.
    • Special HTML characters like & are handled correctly. This bug was affecting assignments, glossary entries and comments, calendar events and chats
    • Keep session alive bug fixed.
    • Minor bug fixes

  • Upcoming mTouch 1.2 will have support for themes

    After submitting mTouch 1.1 to the AppStore we started working on mTouch 1.2 which will be available some time later.

    With version 1.2 we implemented theme support. mTouch 1.2 will come with three themes; Standard, Slate and Black.

  • mTouch 1.1 is comming soon

    We have received lots of useful feedback within the first two days and already applied some bug fixes and improvements. mTouch is now more stable.

    We will be submitting an update (mTouch 1.1) tomorrow to the AppStore and hope that update will be downloadable within couple of days.
