mTouch, mTouch+ 2.2.5 and moodlEZ 1.2.5 submitted for approval

New verions of our Moodle iOS apps will soon be available for download from the Apple AppStore. This minor update includes some improvements and minor bug fixes.

Here is the "What is new" information for mTouch (v.2.2.5), mTouch+(v.2.2.5) and moodlEZ (v.1.2.5)

Minor bug fixes
Login view redesign with some look and feel change
Profile settings moved to a seperate
Course and system menu look and feel changes
Network availability ping mechanism removed. Apps do not ping any site for network availability checks.
Video upload from Camera Roll enabled
Photo upload from Camera Roll workflow simplified. Preview of the selected image is not showed any more.
Video and audio preview enhancements

PragmaTouch team is pleased to announce that the latest versions of mTouch, mTouch+ and moodlEZ are ready for prime time. We have submitted latest versions to the Apple AppStore for approval and hope the apps will be available for download within couple of days.

Local notifications for calendar
File Manager improvements
Custom scheme support. Ability to open safe browsers like Mobicip
File sharing support. Copy files from your computer with iTunes to mTouch on your iPhone/iPod Touch
Generic browser url lower casing fixed bug. Generic browser does not makes the url lower case anymore
Improvements to file download options
Some other minor improvements and bug fixes

MoodlEZ (MoodleEasy) is a specialized Moodle web browser app with file upload support. MoodleEZ also supports file downloads from your Moodle site to your device.

MoodlEZ renders your Moodle site as is and provides you pop over hint when you hit a page which includes file uploads. MoodlEZ provides full support for Moodle 2.x modules and all roles (teacher, student and administrator) while we provide limited support to students for assignment, forums and glossary modules on Moodle 1.9.x.

We have developed some other cool features as well as Moodle 2 support.Our iOS apps (mTouch and mTouch+) brings you the following new features

Document Support: mTouch and mTouch+ apps can share documents with other apps like DocumentsToGo and Dropbox
Camera API: Our users can take pictures and upload them to Moodle forums, assignments and other activities which has upload/attachment facility
Access to Camera folder
Hide unused activity tabs (mTouch+ specific)
SmallerFont variant of our default theme

Oakland University Moodle Login Problem

A user from Oakland University at Michigan wrote an AppStore review about mTouch stating that mTouch does not work with Moodle of Oakland University which is totally wrong.

Since we do not have any chance to contact this person through AppStore nor this user contacted us directly we felt that publishing a public announcement would be appropriate.
