About Displaying  Files

Some mTouch users reported us that mTouch does not display some of the downloaded files automatically, such as mp3 and Power Point.

This problem is not related to mTouch, since mTouch directs Safari to display all of the downloaded files. mTouch does not include a file reader.

If Safari does not display your files you probably have some missing plugin for Safari and try to install that missing plugin.

About File Selection and Upload

IPhone and IPod Touch devices does not offer a file system which looks like the one offered by Windows, Linux or any other operating system. That is, you can not have a My Documents folder which is accessible by all of the installed applications. For example your email client on the IPhone  will download your email attachments to a Documents folder found under applications installation folder. mTouch file browser allows you to browse other applications' Documents folder but this is not very easy since IPhone OS installs your applications to folders with names not so readable and discoverable by the humans.

mTouch for IPhone System Requirements

  • IPhone OS version 3.0 or higher
  • IPhone or IPod Touch
  • Internet access
  • Moodle 1.9
